At world snooker services we do get asked to come and take away pool and snooker tables from a range of places in all sorts of conditions from nearly new to irrepairable. When we bring these tables back to the workshop we assess the condition they are in. If we decide to keep them they are fully refurbished back upto playing standard.
General refurbishment of a pool table would include a thorough cleaning of the frame inside and out and any touching up where needed. The table ball rails, ball tray, table legs and feet would be cleaned. The cushions would be stripped re rubbered if needed, taped for a smoother surface and extra support if needed then re clothed usually to the customers specific colour anc cloth type along with the slate. As regards to the door all locks would be checked or replaced and the coin mech could be changed to the customers requirements.
Refurbishment of a snooker table is completely different to that of a pool table. It very much depends on how the much the customer would like to spend, ofcourse if we sold the table to you it would be in a good and playable condition but we do offer the a lot of extra services. For instance we are able to sand all wood work back to its original state then re spray and varnish or fench polish the wood back to the customers chosen colour. We are also able to re-block and re-rubber cushions so they will play like a new table regardless of how many years ago the table was made. Effectively what i am trying to say is we are able to locate and refurbish any snooker table to any standard the customer would want.
